Manta's has developed an enabling platform technology that our single and multi dose dpi devices are built around. A foil cutting disk is encapsulated inside a foil on foil dose chamber and provides a clean opening of the blister when actuated. Blisters and cutters can vary in size and shape to accommodate different device and therapeutic requirements.

Our Blister Opening Technology can integrate an optional desiccant to provide premium dose protection for formulations that are particularly sensitive to moisture. Air channels in the cutter connect the dessicant with the entire internal perimeter of the foil on foil blister seal. An internal seal isolates the desiccant from the dose.

The foil blister, foil lid and internal cutter are manufactured using traditional materials and process. Cold formed blisters are partially filled with drug dose using standard filling methods and the cutter and lid are heat sealed in one operation to close the dose chamber.
